1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using GetLandable's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2. Services Description
GetLandable provides professional web design, development and digital product services, including:
- Landing page design and development
- Mobile-responsive website creation
- Conversion optimisation
- Web application development
- SaaS product development
- AI-powered product development
- E-commerce development
- MVP prototype development
- Website redesign
- Customer portals and internal tools
- API integrations
- Analytics integration
- Website hosting services
- Ongoing support and maintenance (as agreed)
3. Project Process and Timeline
Discovery Phase
You will complete our discovery form to provide project requirements. We will provide a quote based on your specifications. For larger or more complex projects, a discovery call will be scheduled to finalise scope before a formal quote is issued.
Development Timeline
Standard landing pages are delivered within 2 weeks from project commencement. Web applications, SaaS products and AI-powered projects require longer timescales which will be communicated and agreed upfront. Rush delivery (within one week) is available at an additional charge.
Revisions
Each project includes up to 2 rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Additional revisions may incur extra charges at our standard rate.
4. Pricing and Payment
Pricing
Our pricing starts from £250 for landing pages. Final pricing is determined by project complexity, features and requirements as specified in your quote. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable.
Payment Terms
- 50% deposit required to commence work
- Remaining 50% due upon project completion and before final delivery
- Payment accepted via bank transfer or approved payment methods
- For projects above £5,000 a milestone-based payment schedule may be agreed in writing prior to commencement
Late Payment
Late payments may incur interest charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during the discovery phase
- Supply all necessary content, images and materials in a timely manner
- Respond to requests for feedback within 5 business days
- Ensure you have rights to all content provided to us
- Review and approve designs and functionality before final delivery
- Obtain any necessary third-party accounts, API keys and licences required for your project
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Client Content
You retain all rights to content, images and materials you provide. By providing content, you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of completing your project.
Completed Work
Upon full payment, you receive full ownership of the completed design and code. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing before the project begins.
Third-Party Components
Some projects may include third-party libraries, frameworks or components subject to their own licences. These remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Hosting and Maintenance
Unless otherwise agreed, projects are deployed to Vercel. You are responsible for your own hosting account and domain registration. We will assist with initial deployment and configuration as part of the project.
For landing page projects, hosting arrangements are as follows:
- Hosting is included for the first year
- Annual hosting renewal fees apply after the initial period
- You may choose to host the site independently at any time
- We will provide all necessary files for self-hosting
- Maintenance and support packages are available separately
For web applications, SaaS products and other complex builds, ongoing hosting costs are billed directly by the hosting provider and are your responsibility after handover.
8. Post-Launch Support
All projects include 30 days of post-launch support covering bug fixes and minor adjustments within the original scope. This period begins on the date the project goes live or is handed over, whichever is earlier. Post-launch support does not cover new feature development, content updates or changes to scope.
9. Warranties and Disclaimers
Our Warranties
We warrant that:
- Services will be performed with reasonable skill and care
- Delivered work will be free from defects for 30 days after delivery
- We have the right to provide the services
Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated:
- Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee specific business results or conversion rates
- We are not responsible for third-party service failures
- Browser compatibility is limited to current versions of major browsers
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages
- We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue or business opportunities
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
11. Cancellation and Refunds
Client Cancellation
You may cancel within 14 days of placing your order in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. After work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable and you will be charged for work completed to date.
Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to terminate services if you breach these terms, fail to provide necessary materials or engage in abusive behaviour. In such cases, fees paid are non-refundable.
12. Acceptable Use
You must not use our services to build or operate anything that is unlawful, harmful or deceptive. This includes:
- Websites or applications designed to deceive or defraud users
- Content that is defamatory, discriminatory or harassing
- Services that violate applicable data protection or consumer protection law
- Any product that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any project at our discretion if we determine that it conflicts with our values or violates this clause.
13. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the project. This obligation survives termination of the agreement. If you require a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement before sharing sensitive information, we are happy to sign one prior to detailed discussions.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
- We will first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation
- If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
- Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics or government actions.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
